As you can probably tell, Goodnight Mr. Darcy is a parody of Goodnight Moon by Margaret Brown that uses Pride and Prejudice as its basis. I was surprised that this short board book actually does go through the entire story (at least with the pictures).
I loved this book so much. The pictures were simplistic, but still looked very similar to Goodnight Moon! It made me extremely happy. I felt like a small book was combining my childhood and adulthood. The last few pages were really nice and even summed up the story well.
If you know a nostalgic Jane Austen fan, this is most definitely the perfect present for them.
