This Is the Day

By: Tim Tebow

Release Date: September 25th

4 Stars

Cleanliness (See “About” for scale): Very Clean (Topics to consider: religion, semi-graphic injury, and death.)

This book is what I would consider an inspirational self-help religious autobiography. It’s a fairly quick read packed with tons of motivational quotes, encouragement, stories of success, and even stories of failure.

Tim Tebow does not beat around the bush. This Is the Day is very straight-forward and touches on a lot of hard subjects.

There are tons of lessons you could get from this book. It teaches that a little change can make a big difference. “Life is a gift.” So many things are taken for granted. Everyone deserves love and respect. People are more important than your own success. It’s really not that hard to change someone’s life for the better.

I loved all the stories from his life that he told in this book! He talked about the people he helped, the things he regrets, and even the devastating stories. These really motivated me to want to help others more!

The only thing I didn’t like about This Is the Day is that it sounded quite boastful throughout. I’m sure he didn’t mean it that way, but it really stuck out to me. Maybe that is just what a successful person’s autobiography sounds like, though.

This book is absolutely perfect for Tim Tebow fans, and it’s also great for people that want to learn how to take advantage of today. I definitely recommend it! “Life isn’t just about one day. It’s about this day.”
