Reading Habits ~Book Tag~

Time for another tag! These questions were created by The Bibliophile Girl, and I first saw it on Book Dragons.

Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

The couch or my bed are where I normally read. I’ve always wanted to have a book nook, but I just don’t have a place.

Bookmark or random piece of paper?

Not a big deal either way. I normally have a bookmark with me. I’ve used some odd things to mark a page, though, including (but not limited to) a plate, a blanket, a dog, and someone else’s hand. 😀

Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certain amount of pages?

Well… This question brings my OCD into the light. I used to be a lot worse than this, but I do have to stop at certain points. I used to always stop at the end of chapters (sometimes that was an unrealistic expectation, though). Now, I usually stop at the end of pages.

Do you eat or drink whilst reading?

Sometimes tea, but otherwise I’m too clumsy.

Multitasking: Music or T.V. whilst reading?

Not on purpose. There is almost always music or a T.V. on in my house, so I have to read through it.

One book at a time or several?

It used to always be one book. Because of my reviewing, I now read one pleasure book and a review book at the same time.

Reading at home or everywhere?

I mostly read at home, but that’s probably because I don’t go anywhere. Haha

Read out loud or silently in your head?

I DESPISE reading out loud. It’s so much slower! I don’t even like audiobooks. (I wish I did!)

Do you read ahead or skip pages?

I skim books if they aren’t clean enough or are extremely boring.

Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

Like new! I am a bookish perfectionist.

Do you write in your books?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Sorry. Lol. But, see above answer!

Do you read the back page before finishing the book?

No. I normally try not to spoil myself. Going into books not knowing anything is just so much better.
