First, can we talk about what the author, Jill Ferrie, calls her books? She calls them “FerrieTales!” You can’t help but “aww” over that!
The purpose of this short kid’s book is to show that “prayer is a superpower.” It teaches that praying to God can make you (and even your fish) feel better!
I Go with God is an absolutely adorable book! The pictures were perfect for the story and the quality of the book was very impressive.
The only thing I felt was a little odd was calling good thoughts “angels.” I thought it was a little unnecessary and might confuse some children.
I really enjoyed this book and its Doctor Seuss-like rhyme. It tells a great message and is definitely worth a read.
