F – Favorite quote of the week/day
F – Five things you’re happy or grateful for this week.
F – Feature your latest book obsession
Even though I read it a while ago, I am still obsessed with A Most Noble Heir! (Check out my review here.) Royal/Medieval/Renaissance/British/1800s books are just my favorite things in the whole world! I love a nice castle setting. (I’ve also been binge watching The Hollow Crown, lately… Anyone else adore this show?!) If you have any recommendations on more books like this, I would love to hear them!
I – Indicate which book/s you are looking forward to reading this weekend.
I’m mostly just going through all the ones authors have sent me for review; but, following with the theme of the last question, I have started reading A Brush with Death by Ali Carter. Think Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes, Downton Abbey, and dogs mushed together…. Okay, I’m excited!!
F – Favorite quote of the week/day
I can’t really think of a favorite one, so I’ll just go with this for now. “It was as if sitting there, in this little hole-in-the-wall pizza joint, the rest of the world faded away and all she could see for miles was the beach, the lake, and endless possibilities.” – Just Let Go by Courtney Walsh (review coming out tomorrow!). I can always relate to pizza quotes. Haha!
F – Five things you’re happy or grateful for this week.
- Best friends. My friend has been amazing these past few weeks. She’s such a blessing in my life, and I don’t know what I would do without her!
- Two-year-old nieces. She shows me the joy in life and how to appreciate the little things! Babysitting is never uneventful.
- Good books. Our very own portals into new worlds!
- Dads. Sunday was Father’s Day, and I had a wonderful time watching Incredibles 2 with him! (It had a few curse words, though. That part was super disappointing!) It’s special to do things like that because it reminds me of when I was little. ❤
- Beds. Naps are my friends! I had food poisoning last week, and my bed got me through it. Ha!
Thanks for reading! I really enjoyed making this post! What were you grateful for this week?
I might do this for next week’s blog as I had nothing planned 🙂

Cool meme! I’ve not seen this one before and think it’s a nice short and sweet one ^_^
I’m probably going to be reading Ali Carter’s Heist Society books pretty soon and would love to hear more about A Brush with Death once you’ve read it! I’m new to her work, but I saw an interview with Leigh Bardugo where she recommends her books for how to write a heist story (as she does in Six of Crows).

I really enjoyed this meme!
I’m sad to say, but so far A Brush with Death is a teensy bit of a letdown. Maybe I had too high of expectations? I’m hoping it’ll get better by the end. I’ll post my review in a few weeks! Thanks for reading!

Ahh nuts. Well, nevertheless, I love honest reviews so I’ll be happy to know what you think regardless ^_^

You did it! Yay! I love your post. 🙂 And that quote’s beautiful. You’re right – best friends are a miracle.
Oh, no, you had food poisoning last week? That sucks. I hope you feel better now.

Aw, I love the five things you are grateful for. That’s such a sweet and unique touch to a weekly meme. I think reflecting on what we have and who we have around us is a wonderful thing to do every once in a while, or even better: every week 🙂

Thank you! It’s so true! People like to focus on the negative, so it’s nice to think positive! ❤️
