Happy Father’s Day!! In celebration of this lovely day, I decided to choose my favorite fictional father (alliteration is awesome!) just like I chose a motherly figure on Mother’s Day (check it out here)!
I feel like father figures are often overlooked in literature. It was hard for me to think of many prominent ones!
My favorite, by far, has to be Arthur Weasley from Harry Potter, though.
Mr. Weasley is a lot like my father in some ways. Seriousness is just not fun enough. Arthur works very hard to take care of his family, but he always sets time apart to simply have fun. He is always loving, kind, and protective. Although he may not make the most money, he knows how to help his family survive on it and bring them closer in the process.
So, who is your favorite fictional father and why? Tell me in the comments below!! Happy Father’s Day! 🙂
I really like your blog. Arthur Weasley is the best, after reading your post I could think of no one else that compares. I love books as well and plan on reading the couple you have on your top 10 list that I have not already. I commend you for reading Pride and Prejudice, I could not get past the writing style to finish.

Thank you so much! The Weasleys are just amazing. I almost put down Molly for my Mother’s Day post!
Pride and Prejudice can be hard to get into, but it’s definitely worth it in the end! A lot of the classic writing styles can be hard to get past. Thanks for reading! 😀

I think your URL is messed up, by the way. I can’t get to your blog by clicking on your name. It takes me to https://tmiabouthatti.wordpress.com/ (which doesn’t exist) instead of https://tmiabouthatti627162870.wordpress.com/ . I’ve seen a lot of people with that problem.
You can fix it by going into “account settings”, scrolling down to “web address”, and changing that to the correct one. 🙂

Oh, I had the same problem with my blog and didn’t even know that. Thanks for helping me fix it 🙂 And I have to agree on Mr. Weasley being a great dad. I have to admit that in YA literature it’s hard to meet some solid father figures, so I can’t think of any other option at the moment.
