Star Wars ~Book Tag~

star wars book tag 2018

Today is May the 4th, A.K.A. STAR WARS DAY!!! I love the Star Wars franchise! It’s something that I’ve grown up on and honestly can’t imagine my life without. I found this tag on Wanders Between Pages, so go check out her answers! Let’s begin!

darth vader

Darth Vader – A book that started out good, but burned itself in the end.

Ouch. Haha. I can’t think of a book at the moment, but I can definitely think of a series. (It is actually about the same as Rosemarie from Wanders Between Pages.) The Matched Trilogy by: Ally Condie.

luke skywalker

Luke – A book that awakened your love for reading.

Definitely the Harry Potter series! I threw me into the wonderful bookish world.

leia

Leia – A book that split your heart in two.

A Whole New World by: Liz Braswell. I liked this book, and I hated this book. It was good, yet could completely ruin your childhood!

han solo

Han Solo – A book you didn’t want to read at first, but fell in love with at the end.

Room by: Emma Donoghue. I was super hesitant to read it because the narrator is a five-year-old, but that was honestly one of the best things about it. (A review is coming soon!)

padme

Padme – A character that fell in love with the wrong person.

Betty in The Beloveds by: Maureen Lindley. Ha.. ha.. [SPOILER ALERT] She left her husband and basically fell in love with a house…

(See my review here.)

rey

Rey – A strong female character.

I always loved the strength in Hermione from the Harry Potter series. She was so much more than a bookworm.

kylo ren

Kylo Ren – A dramatic character we all love.

I’m going to have to go with Ron from the Harry Potter series. He’s too funny!

obi-wan

Obi-Wan – A hot character.

Mr. Darcy! ❤ Those brains, though! 😉

finn

Finn – A couple you shipped, but it didn’t happen.

Another Harry Potter answer! Luna and Neville. They technically were briefly a couple, but I needed more!

yoda

Yoda – Books with different chronological order.

I’m probably not answering this correctly, but One Stone Left Unturned by: Marianna Heusler skipped from past to present a lot.

(See my review here.)

jar jar

Jar Jar Binks – A book you found boring and abandoned.

😦 Okay, this one makes me sad. I actually like Jar Jar! I’ll pick Emma by: Jane Austen because it was a book that bored me, but I also really wanted to like it!

Thank for reading! Were your answers similar to mine? Do you think they will ever stop making Star Wars films?! Nah.. probably not. 😀 I tag anyone who loves Star Wars!

May the 4th be with you!

  1. I grew up with Star Wars too 🙂 It was such a big part of my childhood! Idk if you had sticker albums but I had them and I remember exchanging stickers with my friends for the characters I wanted 🙂 Hey I haven’t watched the new movies. Have you? May the 4th be with you!

    1. I didn’t have any sticker albums, but I had about a million figurines. (They are still somewhere in my house, now.)

I have watched the new movies! The Last Jedi was really good! I wasn’t a total fan of Rogue One, but it was still good.

  2. I felt the same about the Matched series…. I wanted to like it, but it just….didn’t consume me? I liked Jar Jar too!
I don’t think they’ll stop making them, if only because there are so many questions???

  3. I love Star Wars too! I found the characters and what they represent hilarious 😂 Haven’t watched The Last Jedi yet and there’s still one last paper to go before I finally have some free time. May the 4th really got me into the Star Wars mood 😍

    1. Thank you! I have only done one guest writer before. I’d definitely think about it, though. You can shoot me an email on my contact page with a post you would like to guest write and I’ll look it over! 🙂 Thanks for reading!
